What customers say?

“ We recently dined at Osteria Nonna Rosa. We found a welcoming atmosphere and carefully prepared, top-quality dishes. The appetizers were excellent, the gnocco was super delicate, the cheek was incredibly tender, and the desserts were delicious, with Nonna Rosa's tiramisu a highlight. The service and atmosphere were perfect for an excellent dinner. Highly recommended! ”

“ Today, for the first time, at the recommendation of several people, we went for lunch. As soon as we entered, we immediately sensed the friendly, homey atmosphere. The owner, very friendly yet professional, recommended excellent dishes. The menu was extensive, but not overdone like many other menus. If you're looking for high-quality, generous dishes, you've come to the right place. We ate appetizers such as Neapolitan-style stuffed zucchini flowers, beef carpaccio with truffles, ravioli stuffed with Genovese and very tender pork cheek. The top-quality ingredients, the research, and the presentation were all perfect. Excellent wine cellar. I recommend the tiramisu, which is amazing. Price? You pay for quality. But we also found the quality-price ratio very reasonable. In line with what they offered. We will definitely be back. ”

“ I visited this colorful and charming restaurant a couple of nights ago. I'd been planning to stop by for a few months, and as soon as I could, I went to see chef/owner Pasquale. Pasquale gave me a warm welcome, and he proved to be someone who loves his job and loves to talk and share it with anyone who's willing to listen. He couldn't hide his surprise when he learned I'd traveled 35 km just to try his cuisine. I can only tell you one thing: it was totally worth it!! The menu is extensive, offering both traditional Campania and Lazio dishes. The menu changes every three months to reflect the seasonality of the ingredients. I had an appetizer, a first course, and dessert. All accompanied by a good bottle of Lazio white wine. Specifically, I ordered a mixed raw fish platter that included: - American Black Angus carpaccio, lightly smoked with thyme, rosemary, and sage, served with a pepper and vanilla sauce and a pecorino crumble on top. - Beef diaphragm carpaccio, served with a raspberry and blueberry sauce and a chocolate crumble on top. - Tartare with homemade crispy sauce and pistachio. - Tartare with creamy pecorino cream and zucchini chips. - Tartare with creamed peas and grated pecorino. The platter was large, and all the options were truly delicious. A special mention for their crispy sauce: truly wonderful. While I was eating the various options, at a certain point, Pasquale suggested adding a particularly strong-flavored oil to the diaphragm carpaccio because, in his opinion, the flavor paired beautifully with the sweetness of the berries. I entrusted myself to his hands and was surprised by how the bitter note of the oil perfectly balanced the sweetness of the berries. Even without this addition, the dish was good, but with this little gift from Pasquale, it became even more special. For my first course, I had the ravioli stuffed with Genoese ragù: I had never tried pasta filled with this sauce. The pasta was perfectly rolled out and the filling was excellent. I continued with their signature dessert: a tiramisu made fresh according to the recipe of the famous grandmother Rosa (who gave the restaurant its name). I accompanied my dessert with a glass of artisanal amaro, offered by Pasquale, and ended the evening with a glass of Don Papa rum. Here's the bill: - €25 for the mixed raw fish - €15 for the ravioli - €6 for the tiramisu - €2 for the water - €23 for the bottle of wine - €9 for the rum - €2.50 for the cover charge The bill isn't the cheapest, but the menu is very extensive, and with other dishes I could have spent less. A restaurant I'll definitely return to!! ”

“ One word to describe last night's experience: Exceptional! We found ourselves at this place thanks to the recommendation of a dear friend. The location is charming and, above all, characterized by many beautiful colors. Despite seeing the extensive menu, we took advice from the owner, who was friendly and attentive, but above all incredibly kind and personable! And we were not disappointed in the slightest. Each dish was accompanied by a detailed explanation, and the quality was decidedly high! Three dishes in particular remain in my heart that I highly recommend you try: the strawberry-enriched cheese accompanied by the appetizer, the truffle fettuccine, and the tenderness of the spectacular Wagyu beef! We will 100% be back! Especially to try the tiramisu that so many people are talking about! ”

“ A charming and tastefully decorated restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service, a young and knowledgeable team. Delicious appetizers (we recommend the zucchini blossom), excellent tagliata (beef steak), and sensational rooster (but I recommend sharing it, as the portion is generous). Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the desserts. We'll definitely be back! Excellent value. ”

“ We went to this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was a wonderful discovery. We had a truly wonderful meal: quality food, well-prepared, and excellent value. The place is very welcoming and well-kept. The two young people who run it are an added bonus: young, enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, polite, never intrusive, but thoughtful, attentive, and always very kind. You can sense the passion they put into their work. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it. ”

“ We celebrated my mom's birthday. The place is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and super clean, with top-quality ingredients. Select cured meats, pasta dishes, and meats are all top-notch, and they don't use frozen products, and they make their own bread. All this is complemented by impeccable staff, including Pasquale, the owner, who is professional, welcoming, and incredibly courteous and helpful. I fell in love with the place and the food. I'll definitely be back. A wonderful experience. ”

“ Excellent experience. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the dishes we ordered truly amazed me with their attention to detail and flavor. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a pleasant evening and, above all, eat WELL. Both the owner and staff were very attentive throughout the dinner. I recommend the homemade tiramisu. ”
